Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of Span ("the app"), made by MealMuse Dev ("we", "us"). By downloading or playing Span, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Apple's license terms

Span is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These Terms add to the Standard EULA. If the two conflict, the Standard EULA controls.

Coins, themes, and hints

Coins are earned by playing. They can't be bought with real money, have no cash value, can't be transferred or exchanged, and are only usable inside Span. Coins, themes, and progress are stored on your device and may be lost if you delete the app or change devices. We may adjust coin rewards and prices to keep the game balanced.

In-app purchases

Remove Ads is a one-time purchase processed by Apple. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Payment, refunds, and billing questions are handled by Apple under its terms. You can restore a previous purchase on any device signed in to the same Apple Account using "Restore purchases" in the Store.

Advertising

The free version of Span shows ads between levels. Anyone can also choose to watch optional ads to continue an arcade run or to unlock a theme early. Themes unlocked with ads are yours to keep, and progress toward an ad unlock is stored on your device. Ads are provided by third parties, and we're not responsible for their content or for the products and services they promote.

Fair play

Please don't cheat, exploit bugs, modify the app, or use automated tools to play, and don't submit leaderboard scores you didn't earn legitimately. We may remove scores that appear manipulated.

Ownership

Span, including its puzzles, artwork, code, and name, belongs to us or our licensors. Music, sound effects, and the Fredoka typeface are used under their respective licenses, credited in Settings.

Disclaimers

Span is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the app, including that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or virtual items, arising from your use of Span. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for in-app purchases in Span during the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

Changes and termination

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date above, and continuing to use Span means you accept the updated Terms. You can stop using Span at any time by deleting it.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
