Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Span ("the app", "we", "us") handles information when you play. Span is made by MealMuse Dev. If you have questions, contact us at mealmusedev@gmail.com.

The short version

Span has no accounts and no servers of its own. Your progress stays on your device. Apple handles purchases and Game Center. If the app shows ads, Google's ad service may collect some device information to serve them.

Information stored on your device

Span saves your level progress, coin balance, unlocked themes, and sound settings on your device. We never receive this information. Deleting the app deletes it.

Game Center

If you sign in to Game Center, Apple shares your Game Center nickname and the scores you submit with the leaderboards in Span. Apple handles this data under the Apple Privacy Policy. You can sign out of Game Center at any time in the Settings app.

In-app purchases

Purchases such as Remove Ads are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, payment details, or Apple Account information. We only learn whether a purchase is active so we can unlock it.

Advertising

The free version of Span shows ads served by Google AdMob. To show ads, measure how they perform, and prevent fraud, Google may collect information such as your device's IP address, device type, operating system, general location derived from IP address, and how you interact with ads.

• We only use your device's advertising identifier if you allow tracking when iOS asks. If you decline, you may still see ads, but they won't be personalized using that identifier.
• You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
• Where required by law (for example, in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), you will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.
• Buying Remove Ads stops ads between levels. After that, the ad service is only loaded if you choose to watch an optional ad, for example to unlock a theme.

Children

Span is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help remove it.

Your choices and rights

Because we don't store your data on our own servers, you control it directly: delete the app to erase local data, manage tracking permission in iOS Settings, and manage Game Center data through Apple. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Contact us at mealmusedev@gmail.com and we will help, including with requests relating to our advertising partner.

Data retention and security

Game data stays on your device until you delete the app. We don't operate servers that store your information. Data collected by Apple or Google is kept according to their own policies. We rely on Apple's platform security to protect on-device data, and all network requests made by the app use encrypted connections.

International users

Span is available worldwide. Apple and Google may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States, under the safeguards described in their privacy policies.

U.S. state privacy rights

Residents of some U.S. states, including Washington, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and others, have rights over their personal information, such as the right to know what's collected, to delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We don't sell personal information for money. Showing personalized ads through Google may count as "sharing" under some laws; you can opt out at any time by declining tracking when iOS asks, or by turning off Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. To exercise any other right, email mealmusedev@gmail.com. We won't treat you differently for making a request.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
